How our
Shows are Judged |
|
| Cars, trucks and motorcycles are judged on 5 categories.
Each category is worth 20 points for a total of 100 points. |

| A. Paint, general finish,
body and fenders, lampes and brightwork. Car sides are free of ripples,
no rust shows. Paint is free of runs and clouding. All lamps are in place.
Brightwork is free of pits and scratches. |

| B. Wheels, tires, springs
and undercarriage. Wheels are clean and free of rust and major rock
damage. Tires are clean and free from damage or excessive wear. Springs
and undercarriage are painted or plated, free of rust and mud. Road dust
is OK. |

|
| C. Upholstery and interior,
roof and top. Upholstery is clean, free from tears or wear-through,
and fits well. Floor coverings and trim are tight and in good condition.
If a convertible, top is tight, clean, and fits well. |

| |
D. Engine and radiator, wires,
engine accessories, belts and hoses. Engine is free from oil and rust.
Accessories are connected and wiring is neatly tied in looms. Belts and
hoses are free from excessive wear. All chrome is clean and free from rust. |

| E. Authenticity. Cars
shown as original may have no modifications. Points will be deducted for
all changes from original factory condition. |
